Palms Casino Resort celebrates Barbie’s 50th Birthday!

Barbie is celebrating her 50th Birthday and still looking fabulous. On the occasion of this event the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas assigned the interior designer Jonathan Adler to create an eponymous suite.

Some of the furnishings were shipped over from Barbie's real-life Malibu Dream House, where she celebrated her 50th birthday bash earlier this year.
Her new 2,350 square-foot-digs have a 50 person capacity, old or young and the suite is available for one year beginning this June.

The Barbie Suite features corseted, lace-up "dress" chairs and artwork of Barbie on the walls. Furthermore it has a fireplace flanked with poodles in the dining room and a decidedly pink theme.
