Bowmans Taking Final Bows in US Gambling Market

British-owned and situated on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, Bowmans is reluctant to provide further details explaining their decision to opt out of the American gaming market. However, the general consensus is that the move is directly related to the recent US legislation banning online gambling.

Bowmans has notified its players that effective Nov. 28, 2006 all US-registered Bowmans customers will obtain their online gambling and telephone wagering services from Bodog.com.

Both Bowmans.com and Bodog.com have entered into confidentiality agreements ensuring that all client data will remain confidential. As well, all existing wagers and deposits with Bowmans shall be honored.

Established in 1994, Bodog.com's head office is located in Antigua. The company is licensed in the UK and Kahnawake, Canada.
