CanBet officials also informed its players that the company's decision is a direct result of the American gaming ban legislated into law recently. CanBet players not residing in the States may continue to enjoy the company's North American sports betting services.
The firm, founded in 1995, is a wholly owned subsidiary of global gaming & wagering company International All Sports Limited (IAS) and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. CanBet is licensed and regulated in the UK and announced it will continue operating in all its other global markets.
