Joker Poker Rules - Easy to Play Video Poker

Joker Poker is a video poker game where the joker acts as a wildcard. The game’s lowest paying hand is Kings or Better, and the highest is a Natural Royal Flush (does not contain a joker). Like other games derived from Draw Poker, in video Joker Poker you are dealt five cards that you can discard and replace with new ones, to make a winning hand according to the pay table.

Joker poker is the simplest wildcard version of video poker. First, you’ll need to decide on how many coins you’d like to gamble per hand. The next step is to click “Deal.” You’ll be given five cards. In video joker poker you have the choice of discarding some or all of your cards for new ones to improve your hand. Click “Hold” if you want to keep a good card. Then, click draw to get your new cards. Jokers Wild Poker only pays out if your final hand is a pair of Kings or better.

Like Jacks or Better video poker, Joker Poker is a variation of draw poker. Hands are ranked in order of: Kings or better, 2 pair, Straight, Flush, Full House, 4 of a kind, Straight Flush, Wild Royal with Joker, 5 of a kind, Royal Flush and Sequential Royal. If you’re playing single hand Joker Poker and you win, you’ll be given the opportunity to double up.

Jokers Wild Poker offers a poker model that you can take part in at a fraction of the cost of its table equivalent. The object in video poker is to get the highest-ranking hand possible, since there are no rivals to play against. 

 

Joker Poker Tips

There are differing strategies depending on whether or not you’re dealt the joker. The jokers can be any rank or suit, and your gaming strategy must be adjusted to suit. The inclusion of the jokers is the only difference between Joker Poker and standard five-card draw poker. Because of this, you need a King Pair minimum to get a payout. This is offset, however, because Joker Poker has a joker of course.

 

When playing you usually have the option to speed or slow down the game, as well as add real-life casino style ambience to the game if you’d like. On screen it is pretty easy to navigate. You always see three values: the number of coins won from the last hand, the total number of coins remaining in your balance, and the number of coins to be bet in your next hand.
