Online Casino Holdem
Online Casino Holdem, like its cousin, Texas Holdem, is a wildly exciting twist on poker and well worth checking out. This variation of 5-card poker is both simple to learn and a total buzz to play!
What's really neat about Casino Holdem is that you're only playing against the House/Dealer instead of other bettors. Hence, no need to concern yourself with the other players. This is the major disparity between it and ordinary Texas Holdem games where reading your challengers is crucial.
To Play the Game
Starting off requires nothing more than placing a bet on the ANTE area and clicking the DEAL button. Next pair of hole cards are provided to each player, and 3 community cards are laid face-up in the table's mid section. At this juncture the bettor may decide whether to CAll or FOLD. A fold forfeits your cards as well as your ante.
Next, 2 additional community cards are placed on the table, followed by the Dealer exposing his/her hand. From the 5 community cards and 2 hole cards dealt to you, both you and the casino will try to make their best 5-card poker hand. Again, the goal is to have a greater poker hand than the House.
To qualify, the Dealer needs a 5-card poker hand that is equal to - at minimum - a pair of 4s. If the flop already presents at least this situation, then you know that the House will qualify so your bets shall be paid out in full if you win.
AA side wagers are optional and allow you to bet on whether the initial five cards dealt will include dual Aces or better.
Let the Gaming Fun Begin
Click on chips you desire in order to select them. Afterwards click the circles on the layout marked AA and Ante to place your wager(s). Every click enlarges your gamble by the value of the chip, and each right-click lowers the wager. You can click Clear Bets to remove all wagers from the table too and begin all over again.
Click the Deal button. You're dealt 2 cards with which you are required to use - along with the eventual 5-card flop - to build your best possible hand.
The Dealer and you are provided with 2 cards (the House's facing down), and 3 cards go to the flop.
At this point you may decide to Call and go on betting against the House, or Fold your hand and lose your wager. Every time you Call you are required to place double your first Ante wager in the Call circle.
Calling is necessary in order for you to collect your AA side bet booty. If you do not call, you lose your AA bet, even if you've got a valid hand. The last 2 cards are dealt into the flop. Then the Dealer turns his/her cards facing-up & the best doable hand is created for both you and the dealer automatically. Ahhhh, the marvels of gambling over the Internet.
Anytime your hand is greater than the House's, you win. Your Call Bets and Ante go back to you with your winnings, of course. Otherwise you your wagers are lost. To play again, just press New Game. Afterwards you place your wagers as we described earlier and click the Deal button. Also you can use the Rebet button to repeat your prior wager.
Hand Rankings
What's really fantastic about partaking in this variation of Texas Holdem is that at every part of the hand, the top hands are created for you (as well as the Dealer) automatically.
Hand rankings and regulations in Casino Holdem practically the same as Texas Holdemm in poker rooms, casinos etc., both online and otherwise.
- The Dealer must possess at least 2 fours to be qualified. If not, your bet is returned to you and the Ante bet is paid out based on the payoff table.
- Should the house qualify and you are declared the winner, your Ante bet pays out based on the payoff schedule plus your Call bet pays out even money.
- Each time you and the House are holding hands of equal value, the hand with the highest ranking card wins.
- Each Ace is considered a semi-wild card, meaning they may be worth 1 or 11.
