Online Tequila Poker Rules

Tequila poker is a relatively new casino game that was introduced in 2005. Since that time, the online casino scene has embraced the game. It's one of many fun poker games that can be found online. It's easy to learn, offers some interesting options.
The Rules of Tequila Poker
Tequila poker is played with a standard 52-card deck and combines blackjack and poker. The players have three options when they wager: bet on High Tequila, wager on Tequila Poker, or fold.
High Tequila is scored like blackjack with aces always being worth 11. Other face cards are worth 10 each and deuces through 10s are worth their numerical value. In wagering on High Tequila, you have to score at least 46 points to earn a payout. Payouts are gauged according to how many points you have in your hand.
In wagering on Tequila Poker, the lowest hand that pays out would be a pair of aces. After that, any pair also results in a win as does any other type of wining poker hand, including three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush and royal flush.
Playing The Game
Tequila Poker starts with the player making an ante wager. After that he/she receives four cards. After reviewing the cards, the player may make one of two wagers or fold.
If the player remains in the game, they declare which type of hand they are betting on and put up the equivalent of the ante. They then receive two more cards and from the six cards they build their hand. If they fold, they lose their ante.
The cards are revealed and if going with High Tequila, the player scores less than 46 points or if declaring Tequila Poker, they have less than a pair, they lose. If they do have a winning hand, an odds chart determines the payout.
