Bank Craps The correct name for the game of Craps.
Barber Poll When a gambler mixes casino chips of different denominations. Bets made with different denominations should be stacked with the lowest denominations on top.
Big 6 A gamble that a 6 will be rolled prior to a 7 coming up. This wager pays even cash, and enjoys a house advantage of 9.1%. A place bet on 6 will pay 7:6 but is otherwise the same. The place bet is favored, with a 1.5% house edge.
Big 8 A gamble that an 8 will be rolled before a 7 appears. This wager pays even money, and has a house advantage of 9.1%. A place bet on 8 pays 7:6 but is otherwise the same., Having a house edge of 1.5 percent, the place bet is favored.
Big Red Putting a wager on Any Seven
Black Dealer's slang for $100 gambling chips which are black in the majority of casinos.
Bones Another word for dice.
Bowl A wooden, plastic and occasional metal bowl located near the stickman which holds the dice.
Boxcars Wagering on the twelve.
Boxman Table supervisors seated between the dealers and across from the stickman and who's responsible for chips worth thousands of dollars which a casino has available at each craps table. (The House Bank).
Boys (or The Boys) Slang term for Dealers.
Broke Money Transportation money afforded to broke gamblers by the casinos.
Buffalo Putting a wager on each of the Hardways & Any Seven.
Buffalo-Yo Same as above although with Hardways & Eleven.
Bump When a dealer's given an extra 20-minute break if the table or pit is over-staffed compared to the gambling activity.
Buy A wager giving the casino a 5 percent commission in order to be paid proper odds for a place bet. The buy bets on 4 & 10 permit the player to lower the house advantage from 6.67 percent to 4 percent on these gambles. Some casino operators collect commissions only on winning wagers, while other casinos collect it at the time the wager is placed.
