Donald Trump wants to save Casino from Bankruptcy
After crapping out in an attempt to take his namesake Atlantic City casino private earlier this year, Trump and his daughter resigned from the company's board after his offer to take the company private was rejected by board members.
Now, Donald Trump is rolling the dice on buying the bankrupt Trump Entertainment Resorts out of bankruptcy again.
As the casino company that bore his name sank deeper and deeper into the red this year, he went head to head with bondholders trying to buy it and take it private. To succeed, he'll have to beat out a competing offer advanced by the bondholders.
Trump commented: "Now I will study and watch as the horrible and outrageous fees being paid to lawyers and consultants will suck the blood from the company. These are very tough times in Atlantic City. Almost every company is in serious financial trouble. Despite this, I will be watching closely and at some point in the future, I hope to return."
