Definitely, though not in the pathological sense of the word, of course. You're simply bound to love it, that's all. For the vast majority, we repeat, vast majority of players, gambling is merely a leisurely pastime.


Indeed, gambling has been a source of pleasure for hundreds, even thousands of years. (Bookies apparently gave Moses 10 million-to-one odds he could split the Red Sea. And even after doing so, Moses never bet again. Wow, if ever there was a self-control freak!)

In reality, extensive studies indicate that people who are predisposed to obsessive behavioural patterns are more likely than others to succumb to an addiction - be it alcohol, narcotics, gambling, sugar, caffeine, food, sex, what have you.
