Save the Odds - Announced by the Stickman when 7 is tossed on come-out roll to remind dealers to return Odds On Come Bets back to players who may have odds placed on their active Come Bets.
Self Service - Field Bets and Big 6 & Big 8 are self-service bets which are not handed off by the dealers.
Service - When Dealer (and at times the Boxman) work together with players to make sure that their specific pattern of bets are positioned correctly.
Seven Out - When a player rolls 7 after a point has been established. Control of the dice is assigned to the next shooter. Another expression for this is "miss out."
Shooter - The player who's rolling the dice. The shooter must place a "line" bet ("pass" or "don't pass") in order to qualify to roll the dice. The shooter may place other wagers in addition to the required "line" bet. The majority of shooters (and players) tend to play the "pass" line. Note: Shooters who make "don't pass" bets are not betting against themselves; they're simply wagering that the dice will not "pass."
Single odds - An odds wager that's about as large as the original pass/come bet. Several casinos permit "double odds," and even larger odds bets.
Skinny - Slang for a wager on Any Seven... also known as ‘Big Red.'

Snake Eyes - Betting on each die resulting in a 1.
Stacks - The piles of gambling chips used by the Dealers to pay off bets.
Still Up - A term often called out by a dealer to remind players that a particular wager is still in play. Also a question to discern whether or not a player wishes to repeat the same bet.
Strip Odds - Lower pay-off on Proposition Bets, Place Bets on 6 and 8, and sometimes Field bets, than usually found in most Las Vegas casinos.
Square Pair - A "hard eight "
Stacks - Dealer chips in different denominations used to pay-off bets or "Color In/Out" players' stacks.
Stickman - A casino worker who calls out the result of the rolled dice and returns them to the shooter. The stickman's also responsible for the placing & paying the proposition bets.
Stroker - A player who hustles bets at a table or makes it hard for the dealers to service the table. Example: Picking up other players' winning bets, barber polling wagers, placing late bets.
Stiff - A player who never tips (tokes) dealers.
Sweat the Money - An expression commonly used by players & dealers referring to casinos where floor people get very nervous when a table's losing to the players.
