Wall (or Back Wall) - Both ends of the table. Shooters are supposed to hit "The Back Wall" to complete a fair toss of the dice.
Wash Your Hands - All dealers must clap or swipe their hands before departing from their table.
Whip - Slang for the stick employed by the stickman.
Working - Wagers which are "live" (can be resolved with the following roll) are said to be "working." Usually, place bets, buy/lay bets, and come odds bets do not work on the come-out unless players tell the dealers to "make them work." All other wagers (e.g., Hardway) work unless players call them "off" (i.e., tell the dealers they do not want them to "work").
Whirl Bet (or World Bet) - A gamble that the next roll will be 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12, made in multiples of 5, with 1 unit on each of the numbers.
Wrong Bettor - A gambler who wagers that the dice will not pass.
