New York Governor George Pataki has refused to sign a warrant calling for Peter Dicks' extradition to Louisiana where he's been charged with illegal online gaming.
Dicks, 64, the former CEO of Sportingbet, was arrested at New York's Kennedy Airport on September 6th.
The tall, silver-haired executive was clearly elated as he dashed from the courthouse where Judge Gene Lopez declared him a free man Friday following a brief session at a Queens state court.
Offshore online gaming is not a crime in New York.
