Casino Website Gambling On U.S. Bets
Submitted on Tue, 2006-10-24 14:34InterXgaming has joined the ranks of increasingly more Internet casinos declaring their intentions of continuing to accept wagers online from U.S. residents. The move by the online casino firm is in supposed contravention of the latest bill passed in Congress and signed by the president prohibiting credit card companies and banks from processing transactions from gamblers to gambling websites.

According to the company's Affiliate Manager Todd Wolf, the legislation signed less than two weeks ago by George Bush states that credit card transactions to Internet gambling sites are not allowed, but no mention was made about actually gambling online. Thus, until that point is legislated, InterXgaming will continue accepting U.S bets.
As are many online gaming organizations in the wake of the new bill, InterXgaming is also seeking non-U.S. partners to help carry on their expansion beyond the U.S. and further into Europe and Asia.
